The Fisher King

Racked with guilt after he inadvertently inspires a listener's murderous rampage, pompous shock jock Jack Lucas (Jeff Bridges) has hit rock bottom when he meets Parry (Robin Williams), a dotty vagrant whose wife died in the carnage, in director Terry Gilliam's offbeat dramedy. Attempting to redeem himself, Jack enters Parry's volatile world to help him rediscover love. Mercedes Ruehl won an Oscar for her role as Jack's determined girlfriend.
